In 1976, the grandmother of today’s owners created La Pelucherie. Like a true tradition, her shop on the Champs-Elysées offered an enchanted world for young and old! Her plush animals, each more beautiful and softer than the other, were of an impeccable quality.

For nearly 30 years, it has inspired entire generations. Whether it was to buy a plush animal or even simply to take a walk with the family, everyone ran to La Pelucherie. Parisians, provincials, movie stars; La Pelucherie had no borders! According to the guestbook, you could even come across Sophie Marceau, Alain Delon, Snoop Dog, Luc Besson or even Michael Jackson!
A transmitted passion…
Growing up surrounded by these plush animals, Alexandra and Natacha were spending time in the shop every Wednesday afternoon, playing the merchants! In 2007, at age 70, their grandmother decided to take time for herself... and the girls continued on their way. But later in life, in their thirties, they plunged back into plush toys: first with maternity gifts for their mom friends, then when they became moms themselves; they could no longer found the same beautiful plush toys that had rocked their childhood!
...and 10 years later... The Pelucherie is reborn!
In 2016, it was launched! They made this crazy bet that they weren't the only ones to miss the plush animals of their childhood: quality plush animals, made with beautiful materials, according to real know-how and above all, a unique expression.
A Know-how Made in Italy
This happy family of plush hairy animals is conceived in France and designed in Italy. The couturières of the workshop spend precious time making each plush animal. Unique, sewn by hand, they each have their own expression underlined with a pencil!
Each step of the process is carried out with the greatest care. From the design of the plush, to the choice of fabric or eyes, to the cutting and sewing of each piece of synthetic fur. All the fabrics, are caressed, compared and choosen by La Pelucherie themselves. The dream job! If the expertise of the couturières is important, attention to detail is the key word.
A Plush for a Lifetime
All La Pelucherie plush animals are made in the brand's historic workshop using the techniques and know-how of the old days. Since 2016, Alexandra and Natacha have been living a wonderful dream! Because in addition to having relaunched the brand, they were able to revive the mythical animals from their grandmother's shop: my plush dog Hector, my plush panther Zélie, my plush hippo Edgar or my plush giraffe Zoé... They are all there, with the same details and the same precision in the look as before...
Their ambition is to give the plush its nobility back; to become again the excellent birth gift, the life companion of a child, the centerpiece in a room.

La Pelucherie
Straight out of the water, Auguste is our superb dolphin soft toy that accompanies your toddlers in their playtime. This most realistic plush with its fin promises you marine adventures without splashing!
With his back as blue as the ocean, his belly and his fins in a white coat like snow, seamstresses from La Pelucherie designed him in every detail. Its pointed muzzle, its dorsal fin, his half-moon tail and my long body, Auguste is the ideal stuffed animal to hug .
I can adapt to any environment, whether it's a child's room or a playroom. A simple stroke of the brush from time to time is enough to clean me. And I only want one thing: to cuddle young and old, and accompany them on their adventures!
I get along with all the other animals at La Pelucherie, and I know that they will be as happy as I am to join your family!
With my small size, I can sneak around , and even accompany you on your adventures! I am ready to be used as a toy or a doudou, and I can make a child's room or a playroom welcoming and playful like no other.
